Finding Peace and Joy through the Savior’s Atonement:

Moses 5:9–12 Through faith in Jesus Christ, I can be forgiven and made whole and find peace.
Psalms 16:8–11 We can feel forgiveness, peace, and the joy of our salvation, just as King David did.
Psalms 30:2–5 Through repentance, we obtain mercy, forgiveness, and peace. Trust in the Lord and His Light. We should sing with joy and thanksgiving.
Isaiah 12 The Lord is our light, strength, and song; He is also our salvation.

And in that day shall ye say, Praise the Lord, call upon his name, declare his doings among the people, make mention that his name is exalted.

Sing unto the Lord; for he hath done excellent things: this is known in all the earth.

Cry out and shout, thou inhabitant of Zion: for great is the Holy One of Israel in the midst of thee.

Isaiah 25:8–9 Jesus swallowed up the sadness of death. He dried all our tears. If we wait on Him, He
will save us. Let’s us rejoice and be glad in His salvation.

Isaiah 40:28–31 Jesus does not grow weary; he will give strength to those who do that wait on Him.

28 ¶ Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.

29 He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.

30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:

31 But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

John 14:27 I have felt the Lord saying these very words to me.

Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

John 16:33 Jesus overcame the world.

These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

Mosiah 3:2–11 Our rejoicing, boasting and glory should be in the Lord who has all power and might. There is great joy found in our own forgiveness and in joining with the Lord in the work of salvation.

Jesus Christ Can Help Me Overcome Sin, Death, Trials, Sicknesses, and Weaknesses through the Power of His Atonement.

How has Christ made a difference in your life? Why is He important to you?

Isaiah 61:1–3 The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound…..

Jesus quoted these verses at he taught in the synagogue and said that this day is this scripture fulfilled. He is the Redeemer.

performed all the necessary works for our salvation.

The spirit and body will be reunited again never to be divided.

Alma 58:11 This scripture is a good describing witness of what the Lord can do for us now and what He is always willing to do for us.

Yea, and it came to pass that the Lord our God did visit us with assurances that he would deliver us; yea, insomuch that he did speak peace to our souls, and did grant unto us great faith, and did cause us that we should hope for our deliverance in him.

Family Section

Exodus 12:1–28.: Review the Passover. Israel was saved because of the blood of the sacrificial lamb. So are we. We are saved through the blood of Jesus Christ and His atonement for us.

Isaiah 53

Vs 8 Will you speak for Jesus?
This is one of my favorite chapters of scripture. It is so poetic and encompasses so much in describing Jesus’s love for us and His role as our Redeemer. He has done everything for me.
Vs 12 He poured out His soul for me. I can at least stand as a witness for Him?
