Genesis 34

Dinah’s brothers were angry with Shechem for sleeping with Dinah. But they made promises that they broke and they slaughtered the city of men after they were circumcised and ready to join with Jacob’s family.

So sad.

Genesis 35

Rachel died in child bearing.

18 And it came to pass, as her soul was in departing, (for she died) that she called his name Ben-oni: but his father called him Benjamin.

Reuben slept with Billah.

Isaac lived to be 180.


29 And Isaac gave up the ghost, and died, and was gathered unto his people, being old and full of days: and his sons Esau and Jacob buried him.


Genesis 36

Esau leaves the land for a place and room for his own people, the Edomites. This chapter contains his genealogy.

Come Follow Me Lesson 51 “I Have Loved You, Saith the Lord” Introduction: Malachi means My messenger. What messages did the Lord give Malachi have for you? What messages does he have for the world? Do you trust that the Lord loves you even in adversity? You should. “I have loved you,” the Lord told His people through the prophet Malachi.
