Come Follow Me 46

Come Follow Me Lesson 46 Introduction: Covenants and oaths are often broken in today’s world. The Abrahamic Covenant, which God has made with the House of Israel comes with rich blessings, which are freely given; they are also withheld for disobedience. The Lord describes our covenant relationship with him to the marriage covenant. It is to be intimate, personal, and kept with complete fidelity. But the Lord does not cast us away when we don’t measure up. His hand is outstretched to help us return to the path and to favor with Him. Hosea 2:14–15  He invites and entices us to come back to Him. Hosea 2:19  He will betroth, or bind, us to Him forever. We need to choose Him. Come Follow Me Reading: Hosea 7-9

Come Follow Me Reading: Hosea 7-9 https://abn.churchofjesuschrist.org/study/scriptures/ot/hosea/7?lang=eng Israel is reproved for her many sins—Ephraim is mixed among the people. Vs 11-16 We the people of the Lord's true church have cause to repent, to minister and seek to recover, and to turn to the Lord with pure intent and full purpose of heart. Too many are already lost. Vs 9-14 We as a Church and also as the People should look to God and put our trust in Him, and not sell ourselves to other nations. https://abn.churchofjesuschrist.org/study/scriptures/ot/hosea/9?lang=eng The people of Israel are taken into captivity for their sins—Ephraim will be a wanderer among the nations. Come Follow Me Reading: Daniel 7-12 https://abn.churchofjesuschrist.org/study/scriptures/ot/dan/7?lang=eng Daniel sees four beasts representing the kingdoms of men—He sees the ancient of days (Adam) to whom the Son of Man (Christ) will come—The kingdom will be given to the Saints forever. Adam will again be on the earth, and so will Jesus Christ. Much to be learned from this dream, at some point. https://abn.churchofjesuschrist.org/study/scriptures/ot/dan/8?lang=eng Daniel sees in vision a ram (Media and Persia), a goat (Greece), four other kings, and then, in the last days, a fierce king who will destroy the holy people—This king will be broken when he stands up against the Prince of Princes. We are nearing this day. The Lord will win all battles for the righteous sake. Vs 16 and following: Noah declared the vision to Daniel. Who is the king that will set himself up and then fight against Jesus? https://abn.churchofjesuschrist.org/study/scriptures/ot/dan/9?lang=eng ...
