Come Follow Me Lesson 40 Introduction: The mighty Deliverer that Isaiah spoke of is Jesus Christ. Isaiah 9:3–7 To save us from oppression and affliction, God sent His Son who would be oppressed and affliction, even unto death. Isaiah 53:3–4 He sent a Lamb. Isaiah 53:7 His ways are better than ours. Isaiah 55:8–9 Jesus has taken upon Himself all our sins and hardships. He can free us from the oppression and prisons we find ourselves in. Isaiah 53:4–5, 12 He will suffer along with us and help us through. Isaiah 54:8, 10 Personal Study: The future is bright for the Lord’s people. Look for messages of hope in Isaiah 50-52.
